Short Message Service (SMS)

Yealink phones (except CP920/CP925/CP935W phones) support short message service (SMS). It allows users to
send and receive a text message on the support server.
By default, SMS is enabled. You can use SMS at the path: Menu > Message > Text Message. You can also disable
SMS.

The following table lists the parameter you can use to configure SMS.

Description It enables or disables the phone to send and receive a text message.

Parameter phone_setting.message_call.rule
It configures the regular expression for extracting the text message number.
Example:
phone_setting.message_call.rule = ([\w-]+(\.[\w-]+)*@[\w-]+(\.[\w-]+)+)|([\d]+\s*[\d]+\s*[\d]+)
It means that you can press the Call soft key to dial the extracted number after reading the SMS.
Description
The rules for extracting numbers are:
1. Extract a string in letters/numbers@domian format.
2. Extract a string of at least 3 numbers, spaces are allowed between numbers, but they must start with
numbers.
