XANTÉ Command Center
Your new Accel-a-Graphix CT4 controller package includes the
XANTÉ Command Center program. This Windows/Windows 95
program allows you to perform many useful functions with your
controller such as the following:
Chat—allows you to communicate with your controller using
the PostScript language. This feature is for advanced users only
and requires a serial connection between your host computer and
controller.
CRD Directory—allows you to see the color rendering
dictionary library on your controller. Options allow you to
rename, delete, add, or select the default dictionary.
Get Info—allows you to get specific information about your
controller. This includes the product name, the amount of RAM
in your controller, and current margin settings for your
controller.
Novell—allows you to set various Novell parameters such as
adding or deleting file servers, enabling or disabling polling of
servers for jobs to print, logging in or out of file servers, and
setting the login name and password.
Print Info—allows you to print out specific information about
your controller. This includes the product name, the amount of
RAM in your controller, and the controller's current margin
settings.
Receive Queue —is a buffer which holds PostScript error
messages sent by the controller.
Spooler—allows you to enable individual interfaces to spool
PostScript jobs to the controller (to hard disk or to RAM).
Spooling differs from normal printing where jobs are sent in
segments which are processed individually, tying up the
computer until the last segment is sent. A spooled job does not
process until the computer finishes sending the job, which frees
the computer more quickly for other tasks.
