Position ribbon cable header 2 over the connector of the
second hard disk up and insert the header making sure it seats
firmly (fig. 2.9).

Locate the power cable that branches into four pigtailed sets of
wires with headers on the ends—one each for connecting up to
four internal hard disks. These headers (fig. 2.10) have tabs on
the bottom so they can be installed only one way.

Select any one of the power cable's free pigtail ends, turn the
header tab down, and plug it into the new disk's power receptacle
(fig. 2.10). In this example, power cable header 2 is used.

After the disk is installed, reassemble the controller.
Reassembling the Controller
Once you finish adding RAM or an internal hard disk, use the
following procedure to reassemble your controller.
