Make sure your application, controller, and computer
communications settings all match. You can check and
change controller settings through the front panel (see
"The Configuration Menu Structure" in chapter 5). See
your application and computer documentation for checking
and changing those respective settings.

If the front panel displays WAITING, try sending an end-
of-job marker using the XANTÉ Utilities D.PS file. If the
previous job lacked this marker, the controller expects
more data and will not print until it receives the
end-of-job. See "PS_FILES Directory" in chapter 4 for
details.

This section cover NovaJet troubleshooting starting with a general
checkup of the printer and then covering specific situations.
The NovaJet General Checkup
If you experience problems printing with your NovaJet printer, the
following quick checkups may provide an easy fast solution
regardless of your printing environment.
•
Make sure the printer is connected to its power source and
the power source is active.
•
Make sure all cables are connected and seated properly.
•
Make sure the plotter, controller, and computer I/O
settings match.
•
Make sure that when you turn the printer on, it counts
through its memory.
•
Make sure the jets are firing correctly by running a test
prime.
•
Do a color calibration on the printer.
