Selecting Menu Options

Use the front panel's configuration menu structure to set up your
controller to communicate with your computer.
Note: Four front panel keys have arrows to indicate their use
within the menu structure. The up arrow on the Job Reset
key indicates backing up one menu level at a time. The down
arrow on the Enter
level at a time or selecting items. The right arrow on the
Menu
key indicates scrolling forward through menu
selections or increasing numeric values, and the left arrow
key indicates scrolling back through menu selections or
decreasing numeric values.
To enter the menu structure and make selections, use the following
procedure.
1.
Make sure the controller is on and idle.
2.
Press the Menu
in the Main menu at this point.
3.
The main menu has four options labeled MISC, I/F, PRINT,
and JOB. Theses options are submenus of the Main menu.
Press the left arrow
through these options, and then press the Enter
desired submenu appears.
4.
At this point you are in a submenu. Press the left arrow
and Menu
of the items are capitalized, that means that the items are
submenus themselves; pressing the Enter
to go to the displayed submenu and repeat the process.
However, if only one of the items is capitalized, these are
selectable items; pressing the Enter
the item name changes from lowercase to capital letters to
show you which item is currently selected.
