Introduction
This chapter covers setting up to print in a Macintosh environment.
This includes installing the XANTÉ Utilities with XANTÉ
Command Center and XANTÉ Linearizer, as well as loading the
printer fonts.
Before You Begin
You should be familiar with all standard Macintosh procedures. This
includes how to click, drag, copy, choose commands, select options,
use buttons and boxes, locate files, and scroll. If you have questions
on these procedures, see your Macintosh documentation.
Check the Readme file on the XANTÉ Utilities disk for the
Macintosh. This file contains information and updates to drivers,
PPD's, features, or procedures.
Configuring Your Controller
Before using your controller, you must install and configure the PPD
on your host computer. The latest Adobe PostScript Printer driver
and an installer program are included on the XANTÉ Utilities disks.
Loading the Drivers
The installer loads both the PSPrinter driver and the Accel-a-
Graphix CT4 PPD into the appropriate folders on your host
computer.
1. Insert the PSPrinter disk into a disk drive on your host computer.
2. Double click on the PSPrinter disk icon to open it.
3. Double click on the Installer icon. Follow the directions on screen.
