Note: The maximum width feature permits the controller to use
RAM more efficiently. Normally, the controller sets aside
RAM for print buffers, and the amount set aside depends on
the maximum job size. For example, if you seldom print
jobs wider than 36" (.92 m), set the maximum width to 36"
(.92 m). Then the controller sets aside just enough RAM for
3' (.92 m) jobs and uses the remaining RAM intended for the
buffer for other purposes. On some jobs, this change can
dramatically speed up print times.
The Save Media Menu
The Save Media menu, PRINT:SAVE MEDIA, allows you to save
media when the image's printable region is smaller than the selected
page size. This option eliminates the white space above and below
images sent to the printer. Options are to enable (YES) or to disable
(NO) this feature. The factory default is YES.
