Using the Colortron II

A Colortron II ships with your Accel-a-Graphix CT4 and is used as
an example in this procedure for calibrating and using a color
measuring device. The Accel-a-Graphix CT4 is compatible with
many other color measuring devices. Please call XANTÉ Technical
Support for a list of these devices and recommendations for their use.

Calibrate the Colortron II

Calibrate the Colortron II before using it to compute dot area on a
calibration strip.
To connect to the Colortron II
1. Connect the Colortron to your computer.
2. Open the Colortron program.
Note: If the dialog box in Figure 8.6 appears, the Colortron
software cannot locate the device. Check to be sure the
hardware connections are secure, verify that the
correct setup is configured in the dialog box, reboot
the computer, and go back to step one.

To set preferences for the Colortron II
Set the preferences each time you use the Colortron with the
controller.
