The Enable Menu

The Enable menu, PARALLEL:ENABLE, allows you to enable
(YES) or to disable (NO) the parallel interface on your controller.
The factory default is YES.

The Mode Menu

The Mode menu, PARALLEL:MODE, allows you to select the
PostScript mode. Options are PS STD, PS BIN, and PS TBCP. The
factory default is PS STD.

The Buffer Menu

The Buffer menu, PARALLEL:BUFFER, allows you to reserve a
buffer area in the controller's RAM to hold incoming files. Options
are 8K, 16K, 32K, 64K, 128K, 256K, 512K, 1024K, 2048K, and
4096K. The factory default setting is 128K.
Note: This setting only takes effect if the controller is idle and
there is enough RAM available for the buffer.

The Spool Menu

The Spool menu, I/F:SPOOL, allows you to enable (YES) or disable
(NO) spooling to the parallel interface. The factory default is NO.
(See "Using the Spooler" in chapter 6 for more details.)
