On a class A network, the first octet number in the broadcast
address should match the first number of the IP address. After the
network ID, the balance of the broadcast address should be 255s.

Reserved IP Addresses

Currently, several addresses are reserved by convention for use by
the networking software. These are listed in the following table and
should not be used as a device address.
