Print Server Configuration

The print server configuration varies depending on the version of
NetWare used. Your system administrator should handle
configuration. If questions arise, contact XANTÉ Technical Support
(see chapter 8 for details on contacting XANTÉ). Configuration
information will be provided on request.

Setting Up for Novell Using Command Center

Your computer LPT1 port must be set to LOCAL mode to setup your
controller for Novell using XANTÉ's Command Center. You cannot
set the commands on LPT1 if it is connected to a queue or on a
network.
XANTÉ's Command Center should have been installed following
the procedure in chapter 4. The following procedure covers setting
up for Novell using Command Center; if you need additional help,
use the HELP (CONTENTS F1) on the menu bar.
1.
Open Windows.
2.
Double Click the XANTÉ Command Center icon.
3.
Click CONTROLLER.
4.
Click SELECT PRODUCT.
5.
Select your controller with Novell.
6.
Click OK.
7.
Click CONTROLLER.
8.
Click and hold on NOVELL; then drag the pointer to the right.
9.
Click ADD FILE SERVER. (You may add up to four file
servers.) Type in the file server name(s); the name(s) must
match your Novell servers name(s).
10.
Click OK.
