You can independently control spooling to each controller interface
in two ways. You can use the front panel, or you can use Command
Center. This section covers both ways.
Note: Command Center not only controls spooling, but it also
provides access to all the features for spooling and its job
queue. The Save Spooled Job option in the controller's PPD
features allow you to save a file in a special section of the
controller's hard disk. See "Save Spooled Job" earlier in this
chapter for details.

Front Panel Spooling

To set an interface for spooling through the front panel
Note: This example enables the spooling feature on the parallel
interface.
1.
Press the Menu
Then, select the Enter
2.
Press the Menu
window. Then, press the Enter
3.
Press the Menu
the window. Then, press the Enter
menu.
4.
Press the Menu
the menu name is capitalized, then spooling is already the
default setting; skip to step 6.
5.
Press the Enter
capital letters, SPOOL:YES, in the window.
6.
Press the On Line key. READY/IDLE appears in the window.
The controller now has spooling as the default setting.
