Shrink to Fit

The Scale Page options may result in an image that is too large to be
printed on the available media size. By combining PPD features, you
can enlarge an image and then reduce it to fit a specific media size.
To maximize use of available image area
1.
Open the Print dialog box and locate the controller's PPD
features.
Note: In most applications, these controller features are
available through Options in the Print dialog box.
However, to access the controller features in
PageMaker, select Features from the print dialog box.
2.
From the PrinterX (1, 2, 3 or 4) Page Width menu, select the
paper width of your media.
Note: If the actual exact width is not listed, select the next
smaller size available.
3.
Select Enable from the AutoReduce menu.
4.
From the Enable Poster menu, select Disable Poster.
Note: If you do not disable the Poster feature, the image is
truncated (cut off). The partial image prints; then, the
cut off section prints.
5.
From the Scale Page menu, select the scale size for the image
that would be just above the physical page size. For example,
if your image is 5" in width and your media is 24" in width,
you would select a 5x scale factor because 5 X 5" = 25".
