Setting up the Driver in Windows 3.1 or 3.11

To set up the Adobe Windows driver for Windows 3.1 or 3.11.
Note: Setting up the printer driver correctly is very important.
Incorrect setup could cause the printer to flush jobs.
1.
Open Windows. Double click the Main Window icon in the
Program Manager.
2.
Double click the Control Panel icon. Then, double click the
Printers icon.
3.
Select Accel-a-Graphix CT4 on LPT? (the ? is replaced by the
number of the port you are using). Then, click Connect.

Locate the Time-out (seconds) box and change
Device Not Selected to 300
Transmission Retry to 900.
5.
Make sure the Fast Printing Direct to Port is not enabled. Then,
click OK.
6.
Select Accel-a-Graphix CT4 on LPT? (the ? is replaced by the
number of the port you are using).
7.
Click Setup.. Then, click PostScript Options.
8.
Make sure the PostScript Time-out Values are set to
0 for Job Time-out Seconds
120 for Wait Time-out Seconds
9.
Make sure that Protocol Options are set to the following:
a.
Default/Serial Parallel if you are using a serial or a
parallel connection.
b.
None/AppleTalk if you are using Ethernet and
connecting the printer on the network via a 10base2 or
10baseT transceiver.
