If the image density is too dark after unpacking,
replacing EPU or developer material, the image density
becomes lighter by changing this setting during the
initial use of the developer material.
Since the image density becomes too light depending
on the setting, be sure to check the image after
changing the setting.
The image density does not change after the correction
period ends. Note that the image density may become
too light as the time of use passes if the correction
period is set to "long." Once this setting is changed, the
correction is enabled after replacing EPU or developer
material. Be sure to check the image density after the
replacement.

The transfer cleaning bias is output between sheets of
paper during printing so as to prevent the toner on the
photoconductive drum from adhering to the transfer
roller. This code is used to correct the output between
sheets of paper to that adjusted in 05-2084 (Transfer
cleaning bias adjustment (negative)). The larger the
setting value is, the higher the value of the current
(more negative) is. Note that toner with a different
polarity will adhere easily if the setting value is too large
or too small.
