Invasive blood pressure measurement
IBP
Signals for invasive blood pressure monitoring
(IBP) are received via a Y-cable, one or more he-
modynamic modules or via a combination of these
devices.
A pressure transducer converts pressures into
electronic signals for the Zeus IE.
These pressure signals are filtered to eliminate ar-
tefacts.
Zeus IE detects individual beats by calculating
threshold values from the running average of the
systolic and diastolic pressures.
