Due to MIXER + DIVA fail-
ure, safety settings have
been activated.
Sample line leakage!
A software runtime error has
occured. SmartCare is not
available.
SmartCare cannot be contin-
ued. Patient values are not
within the etCO and VT

ranges.
SmartCare could not induce
spontaneous breathing dur-
ing recovery.
The patient might be ready
for extubation.
The respiratory drive is suffi-
cient.
etCO is too high.

Spontaneous breathing oc-
curred during controlled ven-
tilation.
Spontaneous breathing ac-
tivity of patient is insufficient.
Warning: The service access
via cable connection is al-
lowed! Ensure that no pa-

Remedy
Check for additional mes-
sages. Check O and DIVA

settings.
Check CO sample line or

A software reset is required
before SmartCare can be
restarted. Press 'Software
reset?' button. The system
will reboot and be available
again after approximately
30 seconds.
Check patient data. Check
patient condition. Check
ventilation settings.
Check patient medication.
Check settings for Trigger.
Wait until patient is ready
for recovery.
Check the respiratory drive
of the patient to determine if
the patient can be extu-
bated.
Consider extubating the pa-
tient.
Check ventilation parame-
ters.
Check patient medication.
Allow spontaneous breath-
ing.
Check patient medication.
Check settings for Trigger.
After finishing service deac-
