-Press. transducer turned
off, -Catheter tip lodged
against vessel wall, -Clot on
the catheter tip
Pressure transducer failed.
Invasive pressure cannot be

Pressure transducer for
specified parameter is either
unplugged or defective.
Fault – Cause – Remedy
Remedy
Keep all tubing motionless,
then rezero. Change the
transducer. Check 3-way
tap, then rezero.
Check patient and take ap-
propriate action. Access the
Pressure Labels menu and
assign correct label. Check
equipment and replace if
necessary.
