Manage InfraRGB with IRLOC

Matrix StIM™ WQ projectors use IRLOC to maintain the target IR brightness and target IR weight
across an array of projectors.

Adjust InfraRGB Across the Array from the Master Projector

1. From the Main menu, select InfraRGB > InfraRGB Target & Adjustments.
2. Select Enabled from the IRLOC Mode drop-
down list.
3. Set the IR brightness target from the IR
Brightness Target slider. This specifies the
target that you want all projectors in the array
to aim for.
4. Select the target from the InfraRGB Target
drop-down list. Select from All Channels,
Red, Green, Blue or 6500K Equivalent.
Weight presets can also be set.
5. Using the IR Red Weight, IR Green Weight,
and IR Blue Weight slide bars, specify the
relative IR brightness of the red, green, and
blue parts of the image. The target weights
are applied to all projectors in the array.
6. Observe the Effective IR Weight field and
change the IR Red/Green/Blue Weight
Adjustment sliders until you are satisfied
with the relative IR brightness.

Adjust InfraRGB to Individual Projectors

1. Go to a projectors menu and from the Main menu, select InfraRGB > InfraRGB Target &
Adjustments.
2. Select Enabled from the IRLOC Mode drop-down list.
3. Use the IR Weight slider bars to adjust the Red, Green, and Blue weights on individual
projectors. Only the master projector can set the IR weights across the entire array. The IR
weight adjustment settings are applied as a percentage of the IR weight settings. For example, if
IR Red Weight is set to 50 on the master projector, and the IR Red Weight Adjustment is set
to 10 %, then the effective IR weight will be 55.
4. Observe the Effective IR Weight field, and change the IR Weight Adjustment sliders until
you are satisfied with the relative IR brightness on the projector.
5. Use the IR Brightness Target slider to adjust the IR brightness on individual projectors. This
setting is primarily used to compensate for the distance from the projector to the screen. IR
brightness target can only be set from the master projector.
