Reduce Motion Artifacts

Reduce Motion Artifacts
AccuFrame is used to reduce image artifacts, such as smearing and double image perception in high
speed simulation environments.
1. From the Main menu, select Image Settings
> AccuFrame.
2. Select Enable AccuFrame.
3. From the InfraRGB Source Sequence drop-
down list select from:
Simultaneous RGB+IR (Main):
Select when you want to display RGB
and IR on the main input simultaneously.
InfraScene RGB (Main), IR (Secondary): Select this option to use 2 independent
inputs, RGB on the main input and IR on the secondary.
Interleaved RGB+IR (Main), RGB+IR (Secondary): Select this option to display both
RGB and IR on the main and secondary inputs. This interleaves both 60Hz inputs so that
the output image will display at 120Hz.
Source sequence is typically configured in the InfraRGB menu. The options are available
here to show you what mode you are currently using. InfraRGB must be enabled for the
source sequence settings to be active here.
4. Use the Target RGB Draw Time slide bar to specify the amount of time in microseconds that
the RGB LEDs are powered On for in a frame. For example, at 60Hz, 16666 microseconds would
be the maximum amount of time possible. When lower times than the maximum frame time is
specified, the projector will introduce dark time for the remainder of the time. More dark time will
decrease brightness, but improve smear performance on fast moving images. The Current RGB
Draw Time field reports the actual time the projector is capable of. In cases where the
requested draw time exceeds frame time or is too low this value may not be the same as the
target.
5. Use the Target IR Draw Time slide bar to set the amount of time the IR LED is powered On
during the duration of the frame. For example, if the frame is set to 16 microseconds and the IR
draw time is set to 4000 the actual IR time is 4 microseconds. The Current IR Draw Time field
reports the actual amount of time that the IR is powered On.
