Click the Experiment File field, and enter a new
file name or select a previously saved file.

Verify that experimental parameters are correct.
Be sure to check all parameters under all icons in the left-hand column.

Insert the sample into the sample compartment,
and close the sample compartment's cover.

Click the Run button
The collected spectrum is displayed on the Intermediate Display screen. After
all data are recorded, the Intermediate Display vanishes. For a new project, the
Project Name window appears:

Enter a name for the
entire project, or
browse for an existing
project name via the Browse button, then click
the OK button.
All data are moved to Origin
