Use with samples such as thin films, microscope
slides, fibers, or other materials:

Place the material on the block on the side op-
posite that of the well.

Carefully insert the block between the bracket
and spring clip, so that the sample is angled ap-
proximately 60° to the excitation light.
This prevents reflections from entering the emission monochromator, and lets
the fluorescence emission to be measured with minimal interference from scat-
tered light.
Caution:
Always read the Material Safety Data
Sheet (MSDS) to understand the hazards of han-
dling your sample.
