Activate the Subtract Dark checkbox.
Activate the Remeasure Anisotropy Only checkbox.
Activate Reset to Mechanical Zero only if the polarizers are definitely
miscalibrated. This deletes the previous calibration.

Place the Ludox
holder.

Click the
Continue
button.
The system rotates through the po-
larizers as shown in the checklist on the window. As each phase is completed,
the checkboxes are up-
dated. If the sample is too
concentrated or dilute,
the software prompts you
to correct this.
When complete, the
software displays the measured anisotropy for the emission channel (S).
