Radiator Inspection
Check radiator for leakage or damage. Straighten bent fins, if any.
Radiator Cleaning
Clean frontal area of radiator cores.
Radiator Cooling Fan Relay Inspection
Refer to "Main Relay, Fuel Pump Relay and Radiator Fan Relay
Inspection" in Section 6E4.
Radiator Cooling Fan Removal and Installa-
tion
Removal
1) Disconnect negative cable at battery.
2) Drain coolant referring to "Cooling System Draining" in this
section.
3) Remove upper radiator hose (1).
4) Remove degassing tank (2).
5) Disconnect cooling fan motor connector.
6) Remove radiator cooling fan motor (3) from radiator.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure for installation noting the following.
• Refill cooling system referring to "Cooling System Refill" in
this section.
• After installation, verify there is no coolant leakage at each
connection.
