Differential Adjustment
Adjust differential rotating torque to specified value below by tight-
ening or loosening differential bearing retaining ring (1), using
special tools.
Special tool
(A): 09922-78610
(B): 09922-78620
Maintain specified rotating torque at test speed of 1 revolution per
second.
Repair case
Reuse all removed
parts.
Reusing bearing,
replacement of differ-
ential retaining ring,
differential assembly or
transaxle case.
Bearing as new part.
Rotating torque
(Set bearing ring to mark)
60 – 100 N · cm
(6 – 10 kg-cm, 5.25 – 8.65 lb-in)
150 – 210 N · cm
(15 – 21 kg-cm, 13.05 – 18.25 lb-in)
