Description
This command administratively enables/disables the local BGP VPLS instance. On
de-activation, an MP-UNREACH-NLRI must be sent for the local NLRI.
The no form of the command enales the BGP VPLS addressing and the related BGp
advertisement.
The associated BGP VPLS MP-REACH-NLRI will be advertised in an update message and the
corresponding received NLRIs must be considered to instantiate the data plane. RT and RD
usage is the same as in the BGP AD solution: if the values are not configured here, the value
of the VPLS-id from under the bgp-ad node is used. If VPLS-id value is not configured, the MH
site cannot be activated (that is, no shutdown returns an error). The same applies if a
PW-template is not specified under the bgp node.
