Robot Installation Conditions

Installation environments

Be sure to install the robot in the following environments.
Allowable ambient temperature
Allowable ambient humidity
Altitude
Ambient environments
Vibration
Air supply pressure, etc.
Working space
For detailed information on how to install the robot controller, refer to the sepa-
rate "OMRON Robot Controller User's Manual".
WARNING
AVOID INSTALLING THE ROBOT IN LOCATIONS WHERE THE AMBIENT
CONDITIONS MAY EXCEED THE ALLOWABLE TEMPERATURE OR
HUMIDITY, OR IN ENVIRONMENTS WHERE WATER, CORROSIVE
GASES, METALLIC POWDER OR DUST ARE GENERATED.
MALFUNCTION, FAILURE OR SHORT CIRCUITS MAY OTHERWISE
RESULT.

• THIS ROBOT WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR OPERATION IN
ENVIRONMENTS WHERE INFLAMMABLE OR EXPLOSIVE SUBSTANCES
ARE PRESENT.
•DO NOT USE THE ROBOT IN ENVIRONMENTS CONTAINING
INFLAMMABLE GAS, DUST OR LIQUIDS. EXPLOSIONS OR FIRE COULD
OTHERWISE RESULT.

Avoid installation near corrosive gas and corrosive materials.

Avoid installation near objects causing electromagnetic interference,
electrostatic discharge or radio frequency interference.
Do not subject to impacts or vibrations.
Below 0.58MPa (6.0kgf/cm
compressor oil; filtration 40µm or less
Allow sufficient space margin to perform jobs (teaching, inspection,
repair, etc.)
