9.4.2 Configuring Static Neighbors

By configuring a static neighbor, you can obtain the mapping of the IPv6 address and MAC
address of the neighbor.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
interface vlanif vlan-id
The VLANIF interface view is displayed.
Step 3 Run:
ipv6 enable
You can enable the IPv6 capability.
Step 4 Run one of the following commands as required:
l To configure a static neighbor entry on a common Layer 3 interface, run the ipv6
l To configure a static neighbor entry on a VLANIF interface, run the ipv6 neighbor ipv6-
