4.3.8 (Optional) Binding a VPN Instance to an Interface

A user can go online only when the VPN instance of the IP address pool through which the user
connects to the VPN is the same as the VPN instance bound to the sub-interface.
Procedure
Step 1 Run:
system-view
The system view is displayed.
Step 2 Run:
ip vpn-instance vpn-instance-name
The VPN instance is created.
Step 3 Run:
quit
Return to the system view.
Step 4 Run:
interface interface-type interface-number.subinterface-number
The sub-interface view is displayed.
Step 5 Run:
vpn-instance vpn-instance-name
The VPN instance is bound to the interface.
