6.3 Troubleshooting Table

Check the items below when the printer does not operate correctly.
WARNING
• Do not touch the power switch, connect or disconnect the power cord with wet hands. Doing so could cause
electric shock.
• Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet before you do the cleaning.
Note
Purchase the cleaning kit or cleaning sheet from the SATO reseller and technical service center.

Countermeasure
Connect the power cord to the AC outlet fully.
Connect the power cord to the power terminal of
the printer fully.
Replace the fuse of the printer.
Replace the power cord.
Contact SATO reseller and technical service
center for the exclusive power cord of the printer.
Do not use other power cord that is not exclusive
for this printer.
Check if there is electricity at the AC outlet.
Connect to another AC outlet.
Replace the main board.
Countermeasure
Use the genuine media and the carbon ribbon
for the printer.
Install the media and the carbon ribbon correctly.
Use the media or the carbon ribbon that is not
out of shape. You cannot feed the media or the
carbon ribbon that is out of shape.
Adjust the media guide.
