Calibrate
Printing > Advanced > Calibrate
Do the level adjustment of the media sensor.
In the case such as the media feeding does not stop or the malfunction of
the media detection, do the level adjustment of the media sensors (Gap
sensor and I-mark sensor).
The setting items are as follows:

I-Mark Slice Level
Auto-calibration
Printing > Advanced > Calibrate > Auto-calibration
Do the auto-calibration for the selected media sensor.
• Both: Do the adjustment for both Gap sensor and I-mark sensor.
• GAP: Do the adjustment for Gap sensor.
• I-Mark: Do the adjustment for I-mark sensor.
Procedures:
1. Pass the media below the media sensor guide. If you use label,
remove the label away from the liner. Align so that the media sensor
does not sense the I-mark (black mark).
2. Close the print head. To get the correct adjustment result, adjust after
you have closed the print head.

3. Press the
arrow buttons to select the type of sensor to be
adjusted.
4. Press the right soft button or the
ment.
5. The adjustment result of the sensor shows. To exit the adjustment,
press the right soft button.
6. Set to offline mode. Press the right soft button to confirm that the
media feeds correctly.
Note:
If the media does not feed correctly after you do Auto-calibration, contact
your SATO reseller or technical support center.
Adjust the sensor level automatically.
Set the level of Gap sensor manually.
Set the slice level of Gap sensor manually.
Set the level of I-mark sensor manually.
Set the slice level of I-mark sensor manually.
