Cause
The print head is dirty.
The print elements are worn

fails.
The USB memory is not for-

The space in the USB memory
is not sufficient.
Media jam has occurred in the
cutter unit.
The cutter blade does not go
back to the specified position.
The upper blade of the cutter
unit is open.
The cable of the cutter unit is
disconnected.
The cutter open sensor is
defective.
Incorrect command or parame-
ter in the print data.

6 Troubleshooting
Countermeasure
Clean the print head.
Change print head check con-
ditions to only check for miss-
ing elements in barcodes and
try to adjust missing elements
to white bars.
Replace the print head.
Connect the USB memory.
Make sure that the USB mem-
ory has sufficient copy area.
Replace the USB memory.
Format the USB memory.
Delete unwanted data in the
USB memory.
Clean the cutter unit.
Press the FEED button to
move the cutter blade back to
the specified position.
Close the upper blade of the
cutter unit.
Connect the cable of the cutter
unit correctly.
Replace the cutter open sen-
sor.
Check the print data.
