3.2 Installing the Carbon Ribbon

Use the genuine media and carbon ribbon for the printer to get the optimum print quality.
CAUTIONS
• The print head and its surrounding are hot after printing. Be careful not to get burned.
• Touching the edge of the print head with bare hand could cause injury.
The routing path of the carbon ribbon is as shown on
the right figure.
Note
You can also refer to the sticker pasted on the inner side of the top cover.

Open the top cover .
CAUTION
• Open the top cover fully to prevent accidental drop of
the cover.
