4 Operation and Configuration
Buffer Dump
Tools > HEX-Dump > Buffer Dump
Save the receive buffer data to the printer.
Available when you have set to Disabled in Hex Dump Mode menu.
Press the Start (right soft) button on the startup screen to save the data to
the printer.
Save the receive buffer data to the buff/ of the printer.
Note:
• The data files of the receive buffer are created for each type of inter-
face.
• The details of the file created inside the buff/ of the printer are as fol-
lows:
• BT0001.bin: The received data through Bluetooth.
• LAN0001.bin: The received data through LAN.
• LPT0001.bin: The received data through IEEE1284.
• SCI0001.bin: The received data through RS-232C.
• USB0001.bin: The received data through USB.
• If you do the Buffer Dump again, the existing file will be overwritten.

Log Files

Tools > HEX-Dump > Log Files
The setting items are as follows:
1 Copy
2 Remove
3 Print
Copy
Tools > HEX-Dump > Log Files > Copy
Copy the log files of the printer to the USB memory.
Available only when you have installed the USB memory.
The procedures to copy the log files are as follows:
1. Select the file type to copy.
• buff/: The buffer data saved after you do the Buffer Dump.
• hexdump/: The received data created through Hex Dump Mode.
2. Select the file to copy and press the
the right side of the file name.
3. After you select the file, press the right soft button to copy the selected
file to the USB memory.

Copy the log files of the printer to the USB

Delete the log files of the printer.
Do a dump print of the log files of the printer.
