BODY - ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTICS
REAR SPOILER LIMIT SWITCH SIGNAL (UP) CIRCUIT (CONTINUED)
When Monitored and Set Condition
• When Monitored: Continuous.
• Set Condition: The Body Control Module (BCM) reports a short to power, or an open circuit on the Rear
Spoiler Limit Switch Signal (Up) circuit.
REAR SPOILER LIMIT SWITCH SIGNAL (UP) CIRCUIT SHORTED TO B(+)
OPEN REAR SPOILER LIMIT SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
REAR SPOILER LIMIT SWITCH SIGNAL (UP) CIRCUIT OPEN
BODY CONTROL MODULE
For a complete Rear Spoiler Circuit Diagram, (Refer to 23 - BODY - SCHEMATICS AND DIAGRAMS).
Diagnostic Test
1.
REAR SPOILER LIMIT SWITCH SIGNAL (UP) CIRCUIT SHORT TO B(+)
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM harness connector.
Disconnect the Rear Spoiler Limit Switch harness connector.
Note: Check connectors - Clean/repair as necessary.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage of the Rear Spoiler Limit Switch Signal (Up) cir-
cuit at the Rear Spoiler Limit Switch harness connector.
Is the voltage above 1.0 volts?
Yes
>> Repair the Rear Spoiler Limit Switch Signal (Up) circuit for
a short to B(+).
Perform REAR SPOILER VERIFICATION TEST.
No
>> Go to 2
