Working from beneath the steering wheel,

remove plug (A) from bonnet opening

lever ( B ) , then disconnect end (C) of the

opening cable from seat ( D ) .

Release opening cable fastener (E) from

seat (F) on the body.

Fasten the opening cable to a probe

in order to facilitate refitting through

the bulkhead between engine bay

and passenger compartment.

Withdraw and disconnect the bonnet

opening cable by releasing from the

retaining clip.

NOTE Reverse order of removal operations to

Interior trim
