Checking winding resistance

Primary circuit (A cylinders 1 -4, B cylinders
2-3)
Place the leads of an ohmmeter in contact
w i t h the positive terminal (central pin) and
negative terminal (pin 1 for circuit A and pin
2 for circuit B).
The resistance of the primary circuit read on
the instrument must be between 0.44 and
0.53 ohm at 23°C.
Secondary circuit (C cylinders 1 -4, D cylin-
ders 2-3)
Connect the leads of an ohmmeter between
the t w o high-tension output terminals.
The resistance of the secondary circuit read
on the instrument must be between 4 5 0 0 and
5500 ohm at 23 °C.
Recovery
Inhibition of the injectors corresponding to
the cylinders where there is no ignition.
Open-loop check of mixture strength.
If there is a short circuit to positive, the c o m -
mand in progress is disabled and there is a
retry.
In the case of open circuit or short circuit to
earth, a fixed charge time is assumed.
Removing refitting
