The intake air pressure a n d temperature sensor

is an integrated component

manifold. The injection control unit uses b o t h

items of information t o define the a m o u n t of

air taken in by the engine. This information is

then used t o compute injection time and i g n i -

tion point. The sensor is fitted on t h e intake

The table s h o w s resistance values that t h e

temperature sensor ( N T C thermistor) may as-

sume as temperature changes. These values

may be measured by c o n n e c t i n g an ohmmeter

as s h o w n in t h e diagram.
