Introduction

Planned maintenance

For the 1910 TD 100 version, fix the injec-

tion pump pulley tightening the fixing

bolts to the recommended torque and re-

moving pin 1860965000 from the hous-

2. Rotate the crankshaft through t w o revolu-

tions in its normal direction of rotation, re-

lease the nut fixing the tensioner and

make sure that the fixed reference (1) on

the tensioner support coincides with the

moving reference (2) for the belt tension-

er. Lock the tensioner fixing nut and then

tighten it to the recommended torque.

Proceed w i t h refitting the components

previously removed reversing the order of

the operations described previously.

Position the vehicle on a lift, then:

- disconnect the negative battery lead;

- remove the right front wheel;

- remove the right wheel arch liner.

Remove alternator drive belt acting on the

fixing bolts and the adjustment screw. If

the vehicle is equipped with air condition-

ing, remove the air conditioning compres-

sor drive belt from the damper flywheel.
