LOCATION OF C L I M A T E CONTROL S Y S T E M C O M P O N E N T S
The climate control system consists of the following components:
- a variable f l o w rate compressor (SKROLL,for 1242 1 6 v a n d 1910 J T D versions - NIPPONDENSO TV
12SC for other versions) w h i c h is fixed to the engine by brackets;
- a condenser w h i c h is a heat exchanger fitted in front of the engine coolant radiator;
- a drier filter which is located near the left side of the condenser;
- an evaporator w h i c h is the second heat exchanger for the system and is located in the above men-
tioned assembly;
- an expansion valve w h i c h is fitted on the evaporator inlet duct;
- various rigid and flexible pipes w h i c h connect the various system components;
- a threee stage pressure switch w h i c h is fitted on the drier filter.
There are t w o small pipes, fitted to the high and low pressure pipes, w i t h a needle valve w h i c h is de-
signed t o drain and repressurize the system.
