Clutch operation

R E M O V I N G - R E F I T T I N G C L U T C H P E D A L

Before removing the clutch pedal, re-

move the accelerator pedal as de-

scribed in "Section 10 - Fuel system".

1. Remove the roll pin retaining the clutch

pump rod to the pedal.

2. Remove the car brake light switch to facil-

itate access to the clutch and brake pedal

retaining bolt.

3. Unscrew the bolt retaining the clutch and

brake pedal, withdraw in the arrowed d i -

rection until the clutch pedal is released.

If brake pedal removal is not required,

do not take the bolt retaining

clutch and brake pedal any further

4. Release the clutch pedal from the clutch

pump rod and remove from the pedal unit.
