Coolant temperature sensor
The temperature of the engine coolant is
measured by a sensor w h i c h comprises an
NTC resistor where the resistance varies in a
manner which is inversely proportional to the
temperature, as illustrated in the diagram.
The control unit detects the variation in volt-
age proportional to the current intensity cir-
culating in the sensor.
The sensor should be fitted taking care not to
exceed the tightening torque of 15 Nm
