Removing - refitting cylinder head

R E M O V I N G C Y L I N D E R HEAD

Place the vehicle on a lift, remove the front

wheels, disconnect the battery negative ter-

minal and then proceed as follows.

1. Remove the upper cylinder head protec-

tion by unscrewing the retaining nuts.

2. Disconnect the battery positive terminal

( 1 ) , unscrew nut ( 2 ) , raise bracket ( 3 )

and then remove the battery.

3. Unscrew the retaining bolts indicated to

remove the air intake shown.

4. Loosen the clip shown and disconnect the

air intake sleeve from the inlet manifold.
