Settings on the operator panel: Fusing
Introduction
The values for the following settings must be determined by test runs with the paper
being used.
Attention:
The printing system needs a certain amount of time to reach the new temperature.
Note: If the fusing temperature was increased, a waiting period follows
automatically, during which printing is not possible. If the fusing temperature was
only reduced by one level, printing can continue immediately. If the fusing
temperature was reduced by more than one level, a waiting period of five minutes is
necessary. If this waiting period is too long,
blank pages can instead be advanced for one minute by pressing the EJECT
button for single operation, or
for twin or triplex operation, blank pages can be advanced for one minute by
pressing the 'NPRO' button.

Proceed as follows:
1.
If the printing system has not yet stopped, click the 'Stop' button.
2.
On the operator panel select:
Menu 'VarioStream' 'Configuration''Print parameters' 'Fusing quality'.
3.
Under 'Wrapping', select the desired wrapping angle between fuser roller
and paper.
4.
Select the desired temperature under 'Fusing temperature'.
5.
Select the desired fuser oil quantity under 'Oiling'.
6.
Click the 'Apply' button.
