Introduction
A manual roll replacement may be necessary for the following reasons:
On a synchronized twin or triplex printing system, you want to replace the roll
before the end of the paper or
the printing system does not have an external paper end light barrier.
Attention:
There must be sufficient paper on the paper roll on the first printer to allow the
paper web to be conveyed twice through the entire printing system (approx. 50 x
12" sheets).
Note:
The control box 'Automatic start' must be deactivated in the menu 'Configuration' ->
'Printing system' -> 'Paper end functions' (see
'Automatic start' on page

Proceed as follows:
1.
If the printing system has not yet stopped, click the 'Stop' button.
2.
Click on the 'Start' button in the 'Configuration' -> 'Printing system' -> 'Pa-
per end functions' menu.
3.
Click 'Ready'.
The printing system is switched to the 'Ready' status. The sheets, which
have left the first printer at 'Stop', but have not yet run through the second
printer, are now printed and fused. Then the progress display jumps to the
'Mark' mark.
