Replacing the heating element - overview
Introduction
The printing system detects when the heating element is faulty and displays a
warning on the operator panel.
Caution:
The heating element may only be replaced by operators after training or
instructions from Service.
During operation, the components in the fuser station and the heating
element reach a surface temperature of approximately 230
the components can cause burns.
Wear heat protection gloves when removing and installing the heating
element.
Attention:
The heating element glass can be damaged.
Only grasp the heating element by the handle with a gloved hand and, if
necessary, support it at the other end with the other gloved hand.
