Replacing the waste oil container — overview
Caution: Observe the following safety directives when replacing the waste
oil container:
Do not allow fuser oil to come into contact with the eyes. In the event of
contact with eyes, rinse eyes with plenty of water and seek medical
attention.
Avoid contact with the skin. In the event of contact with the skin, wash
fuser oil off with plenty of water.
Do not spill fuser oil. There is a danger of slipping on spilled fuser oil.
If you do spill fuser oil, immediately apply an agent such as siliceous
earth (kieselguhr) to bind the fluid, and dispose of in a suitable manner.
Keep fuser oil out of the reach of children and store it away from
containers used for food and drink.
Fuser oil must be disposed of as hazardous waste in a waste oil container
in accordance with local provisions.
Note:
The waste oil container fill level is not monitored automatically. Check the waste oil
container fill level regularly.
Overview
The printing system does not automatically recognize when the waste oil container
is full. Therefore you must check the waste oil container fill level regularly.
If the waste oil container is full, the following procedure must be carried out for
replacing the waste oil container:
