If the toner bottle cannot be identified, a message is displayed listing several possible
ways to remedy the situation.

If desired, the TonerSafe
MICR. Although not recommended, disabling TonerSafe
use toner which it cannot match with the developer station, such as third party or
non-Océ approved toner. The operator will be warned when the toner cannot be
verified and given the choice to continue or try a new bottle. TonerSafe
disabled for MICR toner. Customers wishing to disable TonerSafe
service in accordance with the instructions in the 'Service ticket' menu.

panel in the 'Toner bottle identification' menu.
