6H-1. Corona Wire Replacements
I.
Charge Corona Wire
CAUTION:
* Do not handle the new corona wire
with your bare hands. Oil on the wire
will cause uneven charge on the
drum.
*
Do not rub the corona wires with
rough material (sandpaper etc.)
because the corona wires are car-
bon coated.
*
When removing the endblock
covers, be careful not break off
the side hooks.
1.
Slide the wire cleaner away from the front
endblock as shown.
2.
Remove the front and rear endblock covers.
3 .
Slide the wire cleaner back to the front end
and remove it.
4.
Unhook the spring and take off the old corona
wire.
