PP
Preselector Peak
The PP command optimizes preselector tracking to peak the amplitude of a signal at the active marker. If a marker
is not on screen, PP places a marker at the highest signal level, and optimizes preselector tracking at that frequency.
Normally, preselector tracking is automatically maintained so that the center of the preselector filter tracks the
sweep. The PP command monitors the signal amplitude at the marker while the preselector frequency is adjusted
to yield the maximum level of the signal response, provided the signal is a stable continuous wave signal. Use the
KS/ command to manually adjust the preselector frequency when measuring unstable signals.
The functions of the PP command and the @ key are identical. (See KS/ and KS = .)
